David Villa - Betting

I checked Skybet this morning and see they have removed the special on David Villa. He was snipped into 6/1 from 10/1 yesterday, and today its been withdrawn.

I still dont understand why skybet would take the bet off though. I think the vast majority think TFM is a WUM, so bets will be very minimal. So why remove the offer of the bet? Has Sky got wind of something and asked by City not to announce any rumours etc?

(BTW, I stuck £25 on a 10/1 yesterday, lol)

personally i think its all your fault. the bookies would have phoned HQ as you left the bookies to let them know someone has placed a large bet on this outcome and they think you may have some inside info, say goodbye to your £25 as there is more chance of micheal jackson playing for us next season than villa, IF he did sign i would be the first to apologise and buy you a beer at the next home game!

I don't think that means too much tbh. The mods aren't going to remove it because he's coming.

There must have been something in it for them to remove it.

I'm gonna trust Hughes' call when it comes to strikers. His track record: Benni McCarthy, RSC is pretty damn good, and if anyone on the club's staff knows about playing that position, it's him.

exactly, so there is no chance of him playing for us that is my point!
