He has been awful this season, maybe the talk of a move put him offI like the look of ruban Dias and he would be my choice .
He moved back just before the break, as a CB he is very quick and can keep it going, he has very quick feet for a CB and a very good first touch for a CB, considering he is amongst the tallest of the CB`s we have looked at he is not great in the air, but when put up against Stones Zakaria is better at everything a lot better, he is also younger cheaper and on lower wages than most mentionedWhen did he move back there and why is he so good as CB

Zakaria is quick for a midfielder, he would be quicker than KDB and Foden which is why he can play CDM but gets used as a box to box, as for flaws Zakaria moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach with a lot of clubs watching to see if he could improve on what was a decent but awkward looking player, he did his footwork is good his work rate is very good, Rodri probably has better awareness and positioning but Zakaria is the better fit when you have so much talent but not much movement in front of him.Is he too slow for midfield ? What are his flaws in midfield

But the main thing is everything Pep told us Stones could do, Zakaria does just better and cheaper, handy that he can improve two problem areas though
A player gets used as where necessary, i have watched him because we were in the market for a Fernandinho replacement for a year before we bought Rodri most were old and never as good as Rodri, but about 5 were young and clumsy, this is the only one that has improved to any standardBut what I am wondering is if he is so good why has he been moved from midfield to CB He must have a flaw that stops him playing midfield How come you have seen so much of him ?

Second this, watched a fair bit of BM this season and he's one of the standout players. Also like the look of Marcus Thuram.Zakaria is quick for a midfielder, he would be quicker than KDB and Foden which is why he can play CDM but gets used as a box to box, as for flaws Zakaria moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach with a lot of clubs watching to see if he could improve on what was a decent but awkward looking player, he did his footwork is good his work rate is very good, Rodri probably has better awareness and positioning but Zakaria is the better fit when you have so much talent but not much movement in front of him.

I remember Fernandinho dribbling though almost the entire utd side before smashing it into the top corner, that was me hooked we had to get him, i do not believe Zakaria will do that but then Fernandinho can not anymore, i love Rodri he gets caught occasionally by players with equally as long legs, but has no pace he like too many others rely on others, more often than not Foden and KDBAgree that Zakaria would be a good signing, Pep is clearly looking for the passing attributes ahead of anything else from a midfielder though. Fernandinho had the positioning, passing and pace which made him so perfect in the DM role. He had played box to box previously so had developed so many good attributes. Rodri gets caught the wrong side of the opposition too often and that's what causes us some problems defensively. When he's on it you never feel like he struggles for pace.
As an aside, Foden was in the top 10 quickest players last season. And I believe he clocked a quicker speed than has ever been recorded in the Bundesliga (not sure how accurate the measurements are mind), which was set by Hakimi. Foden is so graceful but he's lightning. That's why he's so good at pressing further forwards, he can press two players and give them such little time to play a pass.

We were linked as per Tier1 of Borussia Monchengladbach but that was before CAS and deal has been published in back burnerI find it disappointing that we are not linked with Zakaria or anyone like him.
We don't have a player like this in the squad. Maybe it's because our scouts are so good & he has a flaw we mortals can't see. But it feels like a Van Dijk at Celtic situation to me, where the player is obviously perfect for us & likely attainable at a decent price, nothing really to lose, but we have no interest.
Maybe we want to give him another year to prove he’s not a one season wonder. Many young players start off looking like world beaters but in their second season turn out to be panel beatersWe were linked as per Tier1 of Borussia Monchengladbach but that was before CAS and deal has been published in back burner
All over Twitter that United are gunna bid for him.
