Streaming platform DAZN is poised to bid for live Premier League TV rights, ratcheting up the competition for holders Sky, BT and Amazon.

This was on finance news this morning

Seemingly the revenue stream for current companies is way down, mainly from no pubs able to show matches.
Don't know how serious they are but they look like they will follow a Netflix type model.

BBC iPlayer only works in the UK. Sorry, it’s due to rights issues.

They are definitely going to bid. Its in several of the financial columns in the papers.

Dazn is understood to be considering bidding at a forthcoming auction of domestic TV rights by the Premier League for the 2022-2025 seasons, with sports rights experts predicting that the value of these rights will fall by up to GBP 920 million as BT and Sky look to cut costs
