However no way I think we will introduce him back in their stadium. It's like a bear pit there at the best of times. Milner/Henderson would look to take him out, egged on by the baying mob. Referee would offer no protection.

Got a feeling the league is a secondary concern with De Bruyne's return. We might need him if we get a bad result in Germany on Tuesday.

A loss to Liverpool doesn't change much at this stage of the season. We could soon make that up by mid-January.
