We were discussing that on the way. If he'd have got minutes on the pitch today, Belgium would have been perfectly in their rights to call him up and we wouldn't have been able to say no

No, I think that’s when David starts his rotation with Bernardo to keep him fresh and injury free.I think we should be prepared for Kev not getting his best form until December. He may get little niggles in between. Think once he's at full pelt it's David Silva that will make way.

A gentle little romp out of the traps, nothing too strenuous and he's got the first bit of match practice under his belt. The only fucking dinosaur in the ointment might be some galoot from a rival PL team who might think it worthwhile to kick him over the Atomium as a service to their PL aspirations.
