i laughed and smug faced proceeded to watch his awesome display

edit: also for a foreign player his english is as amazing as his tackling skills

ye he was so good today, he really is class.
He is dutch they all speak english really well, they are taught it from the age of 5/6.

the most combative midfield i have ever seen before today was with Gerry Gow where we hunted in packs today Nigel came of age. that was one of the if not the most destructive displays of midfield destruction i`ve ever witnessed by one player.

De Jong today reminded me of Roy Keane today. Looked forward to every single tackle and passed the ball simple put his body on line time and time again. Had the whole of the Chelsea midfield rattled out there. It amazed me why we signed Barry when we had a decent midfield already at the club. I hope the fuck Barry noticed how well De Jong played out there speed power and tackling the type of player this team needs in it. Barry will have to up his game more when everyone is fit his place will be at treat more than anyone elses.
