Yet? You must be watching some other fantastic holding players that I for one haven't seen recently. City third in Prem. Holland third in world. Anyway, I'll leave it with you.

thankyou.

i think you must still be enjoying the festivities from yesterdays game coleridge. take them beer goggles off, he wouldnt get near real madrids team, chelseas team, barcas, arsenals, man utds, inters. Anyway, il leave that with you.

Thank you for your concern. However, I've moved on to good wine in my dotage and only wear shades. Oh, how Arsenal could have done with him yesterday! We'll agree to differ, although I'd obviously prefer Barry to picking up the WC medal.

Don't anyone dis this attitude! He knows his place and he is fighting for his place in the 11 that noone can be be secured in! Stop turning on our players. Robbie and Schlong are awesome committed players!!

Against stronger teams, I would drop Ireland. Ireland has the future ahead of him, but I think he isn't of the level Barry and De Jong. He also doesn't have enough skills to play behind the striker or attacking midfield.

I am not saying he is crap, all I am saying is that compared to other players we have, they will flourish a bit more and be more effective in matches.

So for me, I would go for this when we are playing lesser teams:

Ade Tevez
Robinho Barry De Jong SWP

With Ireland as the first sub to go in for either Barry De Jong or SWP and Bellamy to come on for either Robinho or Tevez

Against better teams

Ade
Bellamy Barry De Jong SWP

Robinho and Ireland to be subbed in for any of the midfielder

However, I do think that Ireland should start on the bench.

tin hats on :)

When Robinho is

De Jong was brilliant last Wednesday at Hampden, probably on of the best players on the pitch, unfortunately for next week, Fletcher was the stand out player - hopefully he has an off game next Sunday.

Its funny how a disgruntled Elano went bleating to the press last season, and yet most on here labelled him as a troublecauser and wanted rid...............

For what its worth if De Jong carries on playing like he did on Saturday, he'll start more often that not I would have thought
