I'd have started Nigel on the bench today tbh, so I have no complaints about that, we shouldn't need a holding midfielder at home against Burnley.

Did Chelsea used to Drop Makelele when they played shit teams at home, or Essian now? Liverpool drop Mascharno?? Stick to the winning team, instead of playing the shit 4-4-2 to fit Tevez in, it hasnt worked last 5 games. If he wants to play Tevez drop SWP for him.

-------------NDJ---------
---Ireland---------Barry--
Tevez/swp--------Robbie/Bellamy
-------------Ade------------------

Simples.
drop swp just for tevez to be in team. you are joking arent you

We need to play that formation, no doubt about it. 442 doesnt fucking work! If he wants to play him so bad that is where he can play, or leave him on the bench.

Hughes had taken Burnley lightly and expected the open game.

And Ireland really made little impact. The 4-4-2 formation and the players that Hughes plays no longer allow him to play freely and shine as last season.
Today he showed why Hughes hadn't recently played him.
And it was surprise that he dropped De Jong who was named a captain last two games.

Stevie and Barry made vacant space in front of the back line.
Burnley thrived in the vital area.
Hughes must have thought De Jong was not necessary against the weak side at home.
But his absent was crucial.

Against Liverpool, City need De Jong.

Kenny Cunningham was on saying how poor a decision from Hughes to drop De Jong from the starting 11. He then went to highlight how poorly Barry has been the past few weeks. Lets put it this way if I was Barry I would be worried after that game. He had a nightmare today hasn't looked the player that we paid all that money for. De Jong on the other hand has been the one who has the legs to get back and win the ball and passing is as good as Barrys.

didn't look to happy when driving pass me in stretford, lovely aston

That was a beautiful Aston. He pulled out in front of me heading the opposite way I was, towards the Mancunian Way. Closely followed by Ireland's misus in that disgusting thing he got her, follwed by the man himself in a White Porsche Cayenne with the sickest black alloys.

I felt quite inept and inadequate in my Clio :D
