Why didn't he play?

I hope the new contract goes well.

Without De Jong, Man City was flooded.

But I think the real reason was Halloween. Wolves play like hungry ghosts!

So why the absence of De Jong, the King of Hells?
 
He was injured.

If he plays, we don't concede the second (he gets rid of the ball after Toure's initial header) and applies more pressure for the first goal (though it would probably have still gone in).

He brings an awful lot of confidence to the side, in that they are all comfortable going forward knowing he is there to clean up after any mistakes. Without hi, the team seems to play with fear of losing the ball, so we have no risky movement, hence no defence splitting passes.

Also his passing ability seems to have improved lately.

You've lost me there. Don't understand what you're trying to say, any chance of making it a little more plain? Cheers.

We got battered in midfield yesterday. Couldn't believe how Wolves managed to play keep ball against us. Not good.

I don't know either. :-)

He said to use the hurts. Back towards the end of last year. What did he mean?

Obviously teams aren't holding back any bit of their venoms when they meet us.

Injured in the warm up apparently...Balo was given full start because of this.
