Yes they amuse me also, handwringing over the supposed fee while not knowing where we stand financially to the same extent as those penning the deal. Why worry when we have a team employed to do that on your behalf?

And that assumes you have an awfull lot of faith in the team thats puts these deals together..

they have been very wrong in the past havent they. im not laying blame on any one person, but players we paid over the odds for has come back to haunt us this transfer window.

you must be able to see why thats an issue.

Have they? We've spunked silly money but won the league one year ahead of plan. I'd say the policy has worked well.
