It's one thing to say "he isn't worth those wages" but consider we'd be getting a near enough £30million player for around £5-10million if he decided to move here, and his wages don't seem as bad. De Rossi would give us 5 good years, if not more, and would be worth it. Footballers earn obscene money but it isn't something we can do anything about as fans, De Rossi has to earn a similar amount as Yaya if he comes.

Iniesta is an example of player who is worth these kind of wages, and there are few players who deserve these wages and De Rossi IMO is not one of them.

to be honest it seem you are not intelligent enough to understand what a player cost, even IF he was gettable, and iniesta is NOT.

iniesta would cost you 60M tranfer fee + 9M per year. de rossi may cost you the same 9M per year but nothing near the 60M tranfer fee.

Exactly. Part of the reason de Rossi would attract the wage is because the fee would be £10m instead of £20m. Over the length of a 4 year contract its like paying him £125K a week.
