I've read that Sam Lee apparently said on a Q&A that he would miss West Ham fixture, but doesn't sound like he'd be out much longer than that.

If it was an ACL we would have heard by now. I don't think it's anything serious/to worry about.

Sam was still maintaining that Sane has told Pep/teamates he wants to leave but isn't forcing a move. It's basically down to Bayern coffing up Dembele money.
So as well as having a hotline to Sane’s agent, Sam is privy to players’ confidential medical records and the results of any tests or scans they undergo. Impressive connections.

Or he’s just fucking making it all up as he goes along.

Leroy Sané still has fluid in his knee which delayed a precise diagnosis and made it difficult. Bayern’s team doctor, Peter Ueblacker, was spotted explaining the injury to Hasan Salihamidžić yesterday. There are fears the deal might still collapse. [@SPORTBILD via @iMiaSanMia]

Hardly a scoop getting the latest on an injury. Duncan Castles of all people broke the news that Mendy suffered an ACL.

Knowing that Sane's told people within City he wants to leave obviously isn't going to be coming from his agent either, is it? It will come from a club source.

I'm not claiming he's right, just relaying what i've read.

Lee has contacts within the club and has been considered a reliable source for a long time. Just because he's reporting news City fans don't like shouldn't mean he's instantly dismissed.

If there was even a possibility of a proper injury, Leroy would have been put in a moonboot on Sunday straight away, just as a precaution.

The fact he was walking about the pitch after full time, climbing the steps at Wembley etc. with just a little bandage on his leg means it's nothing. Which is what Pep said - -at first it looked bad but now it seems small, and that was at his press conference on Sunday.
