You would think if he damaged his ACL and requires surgery the club would have announced it by now but I suppose stranger things have happened.

Season ending injury if its torn , lets hope for the best as that would be a shocking start to the season and end any conjecture of a move for him from Bayern.

If I recall correctly we seem to take our time reporting serious injuries. On the other hand it may well be that there is a lot of swelling making diagnosis difficult. let's hope for the latter
 
We announced Mendy's ACL injury 5 days after the game with Palace. However, he travelled to Barcelona before the announcement for assessment. Sane seems to be in Manchester which gives us hope it's not that bad.

Yep they usually like the injury to settle down before diagnoses.

Would be so funny if it was all a prank with Pep/Sane pointing and laughing at 17.00.
