Deal agreed with Bayern Munich for Leroy Sane - €60m (including add-ons)

When has he ever said he wants to leave? there has been lots of hot air from bayern,that is their M.O and that's it,he has a very laid back style,you can't get from that he has a sense of entititlement or bad attitude,at this moment no-one knows anything,we are certainly not in milner territory

Did Milner ever say he wanted to leave? People tend not to. There would be no transfer drama if Sané wasn't interested. Bayern didn't spend the whole summer (to the extent they only ended up with a loaned player when they missed out) trying to buy a player who was giving them the cold shoulder.

I would be surprised if Leroy ever plays for us again, and that's a shame because I'd rather he stayed, but life will go on, Mahrez is coming good and whoever we buy will have world class potential.

Agree , Sane and his agent like any footballer is looking for a good deal at the right club , and we and Bayern can offer him that , big clubs who win trophies , my only concern is has Sane got the gumption to fight for his place at the Etihad or would he prefer to walk into a Bayern side. When Sane receives the ball he gets bums of seats , there arent many players can do that nowadays , he will definitely develop into one of the true great wide players , just hope its in a blue shirt and not a German Rag shirt.

I just stumbled upon a video which showed all of our goals from last season.

Struck me by surprise at just how much Sane was involved in them, and what seem to be lacking a bit so far this season on occasions. His partnership with Sterling in particular is unreal and a big reason why Raheem can score so many tap ins

Have to be honest, completely forgot all about him..

Came across a highlight reel of him earlier on Twitter and forgot what qualities he brings to the team, real shame its pretty likely he leaves.

Easy to forget how much of a highlights player Leroy can be though, especially when we're 8 points down and just lost to Wolves. Presumably the compilation didn't feature all the times Pep goes mad because he's not doing what he wanted or benching him for 2/3rds of the title run in.

We do miss him as an option because he does things no one else can, and my ideal XI is probably still to Sterling on the right, Sané on the left but with Mahrez in current form, unless Sané had suddenly found consistency or started doing what Pep wanted, he would be our 4th choice winger and I'm not sure he'd be playing much anyway.

I personally want players to stay that want to play for us if he does not then sell and maximise what we can get . Oh and yes he has not said publicly whether yet what he wants to do.

Milner did lots of talking ,sane has said nothing,of course he is going to be interested if the biggest club in your home country comes calling,what we don't know is if he wanted to go or if he was using them to get a better deal out of us,we don't know so give the kid a break till we know more,the injury complicates things for him and us,we just need to wait

Signing was very close,then came bayern interest and the injury,it's right all round to wait and see how he recovers,everyone was demanding raz sign or be sold,these things take time,it's signing away their peak years,it's not as easy as he should have signed by now,makes me laugh(not you)when people think multi million pound contracts are simple to do

If he has decided to move to Bayern, and I can understand the reasons why he may have done so, I just hope that we are able to get the proper market fee for him. The trouble is I doubt that we will, due to the situation with his contact expiry date.

And the issue with Bayern being involved is the total arrogance which runs throughout the club and its officials , and I sure they will be doing everything tp persuade Leroy not to sign a contract with City.

I’d be surprised, given the intensity with which Bayern have (very publicly) pursued him - something they surely wouldn’t have done without overt encouragement from the Sane camp - if he signs an extension with City now. Many a slip twixt cup and lip I know, but personally I’ve written him off. I just hope we don’t cave over the price

I'm still hoping he stays,i think we could of used him this season if he had been fit ,we resorted to bunging in crosses to midgets rather than find another way to score,our left side is severly lacking options,i don't like raz there,try gabby at least to see if that works

I desperately want him to stay. Like Kev, he’s tall, athletic and graceful, and gives us something the rest of our midfield doesn’t. Can’t see it happening though
