It is usual Bayern modus operandi. They have tapped up the players beforehand to have the upper hands with their contractual situation and get the move with good financial outcome for them.
I can't see Sancho going anywhere this winter. Dortmund will play in Champions League against PSG and can still hope to win the Bundesliga.
I thnik Coutinho loan will end up like James Rodriguez loan. Bayern will not buy him. The supposed fee is too high due to Barça being fleeced by Liverpool. Sané is younger, German, the perfect posterboy for their rebuild.

Sane was seen as the perfect replacement for wingers Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben, who left in the summer, while he is also free to play in the Champions League having not featured in Europe so far this season.
