Tixiki want to get him in his office and ask him straight, do you want to stay or do you want to leave, if he wants to stay all well and good,
if he wants to leave Tixiki should tell him that we will informing clubs of your availability for transfer.
im guessing that Tixiki has a good idea of how to handle these situations.

Can't help but think that this is potentially a huge mistake from whoever is responsible for the breakdown between the club and Sane.

Was he offered a contract after he won YPOTY in 2018?

He should have been on nearer 200k a week after that in my opinion. It'll cost us a fortune to get him replaced and personally I'm not convinced by Sancho.

His better years are likely to be ahead of him and for me we should do everything we can to keep him.

What makes you think it is a mistake.

Yes,but equally Leroy can't force us to sell him to the club he wants to join.
The point of informing clubs of his availability is to ensure maximum transfer value if he does go.
If other clubs were prepared to shell out 120m,Bayern won't get away with a low ball 80m

Because of course, we can force him to sign for a club he doesn't want to go to

If Barca and Real, or Juve start making enquiries, he might have a rethink about Bayern

What makes you think it is a mistake.

My opinion of him is that he has the potential to be one of, if not the best player in the world in the near future.

I suppose the injury clouds that somewhat but personally I'd still make him one of the top earners at the club providing our medical team are certain he'll recover and have no further problems linked to that injury.

Replacing him with Sancho for me would be a step backwards.

Agree but they were implying that somehow City messed up with the negotiations.

Yep a new improve deal think it was double his money to 75k a week.

His agent is poor , leaking that information. It should have been kept between club and agent.

If club leaked it , then also very poor, and unusual.

I wonder why he is having second thoughts?

Just me guessing some ideas.
A) He knows something about City's future, possibly relating to Pep that'd make him want to stay.
B) He knows something about Bayern's future that's a turn off. Maybe Kovac leaving has affected it.
C) He's grown to love the club more given how we may have handled his injury.
D) Our form this season has meant we're offering him a lot more money.

Maybe, , but I doubt for one minute we have offered more money. A player whose major asset is pace, will hopefully rediscover that pace before an improved offer is made.

There are questions about the whole situation which is becoming more complex as his return (hopefully) gets closer.

I think the answers are closer to Sane, his wife and agent, rather than anywhere else.
