Oh massive boost for the whole squad, welcome back Leroy.
That would be tellin' and I aint no snitch.
No, Pep said he'd been trying to get him to sign a contract for 18 months last May.
"With Leroy we are one and a half years trying to sign his [new] contract. We want him. If you want to extend his contract, it's because you want him."
- Pep, 17 May 2019.
Just like how Pep said they'd agreed a contract and everything was sorted only for Sané to change his mind.
Sounds a lot like fucking people about to me.
You don’t know this, you’ve only HEARD this. I don’t believe Pep or anyone else when it comes to contracts. They’re never done until they’re ACTUALLY done and signed. Simple as.No, not 18 months. It was 18 months in May.
And he agreed a deal with the club, and then changed his mind.
I've bolded that because you keep ignoring it.
Good post mate. We are good enough for Vincent Kompany, Kun Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva, all who could have walked into any team in the world. Leroy had the chance to follow in their footsteps and unfortunately it looks like he will choose an easier option. Its a shame that his determination to be the best in the world does not match his undoubted potential.its great that he is back training and lets hope he can settle down and stay at city, no doubt he is a talent and could light up the premier league and champions league in a city shirt, BUT somebody got in his head about going home and being a poster boy for german football and munich ?? i even think its not the money but playing time that munich have offered a guarantee place every week, and pep and city have not ?? how can city offer that to him because nobody is a guarantee start at city under pep and you have to earn your shirt
sane should say at city and work hard in training and get his head down, because if he does he will be a starting player every week, because he is that good he does not need to be gifted a place and if you are given a shirt without earning it you become lazy and sloppy, also the other players start to hate you and the camp becomes unsettled, and if your not fully in it like the rest then the whole club and fans will see it and that is the worst thing ever when the fans are on your back
look sane is not fully in control of things off the field and the agent and the people behind him have put idea's in his head about munich and going home to be a poster boy< but the truth is munich are not on the same level as any club in the top 4 in england, and manchester city sit at the top of that small group and have better chances of winning the champions league than munich, so why not stay and become a legend at city and international football will follow hand in hand, just ask d.silva he won the world cup at city
You don’t know this, you’ve only HEARD this.
We held all the aces before Leroy's unfortuante injury , but he is approaching the last 18 months of his contract and his value will slide with every coming month , we should utilise him for the rest of this season and if his heart isnt at the club we should get every last cent from the German Rags , the injury cost Leroy 6 months of his career , but its cost our club £50m , because Rummengige will want a £50-60m bargain in the summer. The only player close enough to replace Leroy is Mbappe (but he's signing for the Dippers apparently :) :) :) :) :) in their dreams).
