Deal agreed with Bayern Munich for Leroy Sane - €60m (including add-ons)

I just hope this saga will end as soon as possible.

You mean the saga on this thread because I have heard nothing from Sane or City for months.

There is an inevitability about it, but I am just grateful for the 4 years he has had at the club and the success he has brought us. 50/40/30 million from Bayern, I do not think it will overly effect us and might make us operate smarter in the market.

It's probably a wait-and-see game really and truly. I think both clubs would like to see him in action so they can better evaluate his market value. It's not yet clear how well he'll be playing after so much time out.

Yeah, imagine I would be able to bring in Bale on loan, Havertz permanently, a defender and still run a profit, then Sane for free some 10 months later. Not a bad deal eh?

By the sound of it the supporters and the management of BM are of a similar ilk, arrogant and unprincipled by nature, if you are typical .

And the manner in which your club has behaved in the way they have publicly courted Sane is a disgrace, and if you were not one of the G14 cabal, you would have been punished instead of protected by the corrupt forces involved with UEFA .

Yes a cheapskate with a low moral compass indicates everything which we associate with Bayern Munich , the most arrogant of teams and supporters .
A cheapskate? Bayern sold Kroos for 25m (second highest sale, btw), Lucio for 7m, Hummels for 4m (when he was young), Podolski for 10m. A 'cheapskate' would have pressed for more money, but Bayern don't operate like that. You scratch my back today, I scratch yours tomorrow.

Rest assured that if one day you'll want to buy a player from Bayern, you would get him for much less than his market value. That's almost a given. Say Alaba says he doesn't want to renew his contract and MCFC move in for him... Bayern would probably not ask for more than 20-25m for him.

The manner in which the club has behaved is, at a stretch, unethical but certain does not break any of the FIFA regulations with regards to player transfers. I'm not a fan of what they did, but if you say they broke a single rule you don't really know what you're talking about, and I can bet you whatever you want that they didn't.

A stretch unethical is a very mild statement seeing as your club has openly touted Sane for some considerable time.

If BM weren't one of UEFA's protected clubs, you would have been hit with a charge of illegally tapping up . BM are one of the bullies who operate with the full sanction of a corrupt UEFA body , which allows sch disgraceful behaviour to occur without punishment , whereas any clubs denied the protection of UEFA would be hit with heavy sanctions and /or punishment.

You know it and are smugly milking the siuation , safe in the knowledge that UEFA will look after your totally unethical club and and a management board of cheats and proven criminals .

So, you want to take the bet? How much shall we make it? I can bring the FIFA regulations up in a jiffy. I say there's nothing in there that Bayern broke.

What you have, I'm afraid, is a long-standing misconception that's common amongst Premier League fans. I don't blame you. The English FA has strict rules regarding domestic transfers over and above the FIFA regulations, but these absolutely do not apply when a foreign club comes calling; they only apply if it was, say, Liverpool or Arsenal, or whoever courting your players, and then you'd be right, it would absolutely be 'tapping up'.

Likewise, you're free to start negotiating with Alaba. There's no rule stopping you from doing so.

So stop your conspiracy theories, nothing to see there. Rest assured that if Bayern broke any rule while courting Hudson-Odoi and later Sane, they would have been reported for tapping up, and Bayern would have been sanctioned.

In case you're still not convinced, here's the official FIFA regulations, taken from https://resources.fifa.com/image/up...rs-june-2019.pdf?cloudid=ao68trzk4bbaezlipx9u

A club intending to conclude a contract with a professional must inform the player’s current club in writing before entering into negotiations with him. A professional shall only be free to conclude a contract with another club if his contract with his present club has expired or is due to expire within six months. Any breach of this provision shall be subject to appropriate sanctions.

Therefore, all you need to do is send a fax, letter or email to the club whose player you like with a readily-made template along the lines of "I'm interested in opening negotiations with ______ bla bla bla" and there's absolutely no consent required (unlike with the English FA regulations). Oh, and also be careful not to conclude (i.e. sign) the contract. Pretty sure that Bayern haven't signed a contract with Sane, and pretty sure that they told Manchester City they were going to negotiate with the player given that they told pretty much every German media outlet.

You are an arrogant liar which is becoming og a BM supporter imo. You fully understand what is being said but you prefer to use bluff to try and defuse the point to hand.

Bayern have blatantly tapped up Sane in order to secure his signing for a sum below his true worth.

For what it is worth, if there is anyway that City can affect the running of the G14 cabal, I sincerely hope that they do so in respect of united, lfc and Bayern as a priority , because all three clubs permiate arrogance and self-entitlement .

He pretended to be a City fan when he first came on here, and then got rumbled. Best ignored like all deluded fans of that despicable club.....
