Real shame he is going, he has a higher ceiling than Sterling for me and potentially could go on to be a world class player. I think he possibly has attitude issues which has not helped at City.

I don't think he will get much game time now, but I would consider playing him in the cup games as he is good impact player.

my thoughts exactly

Bayern will be sat on their hands until the CAS verdict is announced.

They would attempt to chip the fee down even further if we are banned from Europe.

I'm sure City will make a mental note for the future when it comes to Bayern.

Havertz could be an early payback.

Havertz is a phenomenal player but I've got no idea where he would line up for us.

He is incredibly similar to Thomas Muller as a goalscoring #10 that Pep loved but just couldn't find a perfect fit for.

Hes gone by the look of it,all our emotions/praise/anger etc dont mean anything now, it is annoying what Bayern have done,as they are a hateful club, but lets think about us and our future. Hopefully we have sold or can sell him for a good fee and get someone in to excite us like he did.I personally wish him well, it didnt work out for him/us here, but that winner v dippers is what I will remember him for. I wont be following his career now though, and if we come up against him in the future, wherever hes at, I hope we stuff em.

I would have him as Aguero long-term replacement, I think this kid can be anything he wants to be and he and Jesus would be a lethal combo.

I do know we have been speaking to his agents since late last year (as have many clubs)

Bayern are clearly in his ear, so would love to snatch him on a six year deal.

What happens if he is made to see out his contract and with in days of it finishing he does his knee in again, Who looks after him if he hasn't signed for Bayern

Why is he a tosser?

It isn’t half strange seeing all this made up stuff about him being a sulker, a tosser and him not even that good a player... all because he wants to leave us.

He comes across as a nice lad when he’s interviewed.
He’s sulked no more than any player in the squad, can’t even think of any other time apart from Burnley away when three easy passes to him (two from Zinchenko, one from Laporte) went nowhere near him and out of play, it’s easily less than de Bruyne who often has a moan at his teammates for poor passes (and that’s not a slight on Kev, as there’s nothing wrong with moaning at your teammates for poor passes).
And he’s the most exciting player we’ve got.

I’ve not been this disappointed in a player leaving since Wright-Phillips went to Chelsea.

But I won’t be making things up about him just because he’s leaving us.
Well said, it sums the situation up perfectly.

Havertz, Sancho and a Top upcoming centre half would be good business this summer

Lots of slapped arses on here. We're not Liverpool who hound the ex like some weird inbred. Players that want to leave can do on good terms, players like Sane, Sancho, Boeteng etc will say good things about us to other good players laying a solid foundation for transfers (Unfortunately for us Boateng previously, and now Sane know damn well to be in Germany squad you go to Bayern).

I certainly wouldn't be upset if he arrived.

If I wanted revenge though, I'd be throwing money at David Alaba. World class LB under Pep, has been incredible at CB this season, and just as good in midfield too.

Last year of his contract at Bayern, not signing yet.

Back up/competition to Mendy and Laporte and Rodri in one player.
