Who's bending over? If Sane is turning up for training and doing his job then give him some game time, it's idiotic to freeze him out completely.

Why?

He. doesn't. want. to. be. here.

He's counting down the days until he's no longer a Manchester City player and you want to give him out medals for competitions we've done perfectly well in without him.

So he shouldn't be playing out of the principle, but there's a whole other reason which is that Pep couldn't trust him to follow instructions when he wanted to be a Manchester City player, how do you think he's going to do as a Bayern player in a City shirt?

I agree completely but it may be a case of needs must between now and end of this campaign,a winning goal in CL final would be ideal, unless he misses on purpose .....

Haha... Quite :)

Clearly he's not going to be overused though, which as we are still paying him doesn't make sense. Tonight was a game which we could have seen what his form & commitment is like, especially when we were going for the win.
You're right he ain't going to get much time on the pitch but I do expect him to play some part against Newcastle.

Why do you think that because he wants to leave he’s just going to stroll around the pitch doing what he wants and not act professionally? He’s not the first player to ever want to leave a football club. There has been countless number of players that have been kept at a club against their desires for years and still performed to the best of their ability. There’s zero reason to suggest Sane won’t do the same

Well that's what he was doing last season when Pep spent all match bollocking him and telling him where to stand before benching him the 2/3rd of the league run in, so yeah.

Pep does that to everybody, he himself said he’s harder on Sane than most. He was benched primarily because bernardo was the best player in the league at that point and simply could not be dropped.

You have a very poor memory.

Go back and watch the games last season. He was apoplectic at Sane for not following instructions and then he barely played for the rest of the run in.
