Indeed. We've not even done too badly out of it compared to what they get away with in Germany. Multiple world class players running their contracts down in order to sign for Bayern for free, no doubt knowing that they were interested way in advance. I'm amazed the other clubs let them get away with it tbh.The ****s did it with Boateng and have done it with Sane now. They are masters at tapping up. Pointless even getting Havertz for 90m if Bayern come in 3 years time to take him off our hands for 50m.

City and Bayern have essentially price fixed the market this summer for most clubs with this deal.
