Exactly and he will also have to do that to command a starting spot with Bayern, so really a transfer cannot have anything to do with more game time in an easier way.
 
I’m not sure if this idea has been put forward previously in the thread but, is Sané not doing what players WE have been interested in the past have done? Allow the media to talk about you joining another club to increase your wage, while not actually having any inclination of going anywhere. It’s the oldest trick in the book.
 
I don’t think we’ll be playing hard ball with Sane if other transfers out are an example. We seem to want to be a club that elite players know is easy to deal with. If you want away, fair enough. It pays off in the long run in terms of attracting the best talent.
 
Seriously, whether Pep or the club wants him to stay, this is getting beyond a joke. Put a £60mil bid in for Kimmich and watch them squirm. Might be seen as stooping to their behaviour, but it'll tell them to put up or shut up.
