Now Watzke wants to see that same Bayern, the Bundesliga behemoth that Dortmund couldn't topple when they were on a rare off season, get stronger by signing a player out of the reach of every other German team. The turkeys have just voted for Christmas. Watzke's bizarre comments are simply the latest part of an ongoing strategy from Bayern to sign Sane this summer, even if the Bundesliga champions didn't expect a helping hand from their fiercest rivals. Bayern bigwigs such as Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Lothar Matthaus have openly discussed their ambitions to sign the Germany international this year, while it would be easier to list the players already at Bayern who haven't told Sane to sign this summer than the ones who have so brazenly told him to head to Bavaria.

It is not the fact that Dortmund would like Bayern to get Sané that much. They want Sané and any talented player (even better if he is german) to play in Bundesliga. And at the moment, only Bayern can afford him.

PL thanks to the money, is taking all the talents away, players and coachs. This enhances the competitivity and appeal of the league which increases even more their financial edge over other leagues, and so on.

What he is hoping for is Bundesliga closing some gap, which will benefit his club in the long term.

But i do understand this public tapping up is annoying.

That was my thoughts really, was shocked to hear the injuries he suffered this season would have any lasting affect. Just pray we get most of next season injury free. He is raring to go no doubt.

It shows what a joke the Bundesliga is... Dortmund bow before Bayern and regularly sell their best players to them.
