I think you are right. I don't actually think Leroy has improved much beyond when Pep got him in his raw state.

He is my favourite player to watch for what he does bring to the table, but he's still doing the same things, which might be frustrating for someone so technically demanding as our gaffer.

He’ll probably have until mid next month to sign a new deal. If he doesn’t we must sell him or realistically lose him on a free to Bayern in 2021. You do the maths!

He may even have told the club he’s not signing a new deal, we really don’t know. If that were the case, the sale would already be being set up.

If he doesn't want to be here it's a shame because he has the potential to be a top five in the world player. But if his heart isn't in it we should cash in this summer. We will be fine without him. Would definitely be the biggest transfer fee we have ever received.
