Every case is different, both those have signed longer bigger contracts, neither are German neither are being left out of teams regularly, when they get down to 2 years we may not have a transfer ban as a possibility down the line. We bandy these figures around and think nothing of them, we all do, but just stop and think for a second if he runs his contract down we stand to lose his fee and value from his wages that's £100 million that's a huge chunk of money that the club will be unable to reinvest. Hopefully none of this applies but no ay the club will take that risk.

In reality he would not sulk for two years so it is likely we get value from him as a player. His asset value will have been fully discounted by the end of his contract and he is on relatively low wages. The risk is not as significant as you think.

Sane is a guy who may be on the way out but doesn't give the impression that he is up for it. Could be wrong.

Love Zinny, model professional and works so hard. Always a smile on his face and deserves every success. I think Leroy is a great player but chalk and cheese in terms of attitude.
