I think this will get resolved in the next ten days.
We’ve been very public with our stance that we will not allow players to enter their last 2 years of contract for fear of either not getting full value for them or losing them for free (commonly referred to as ‘doing an Arsenal’).
So either he accepts current improved offer or we’ll spend last week of window seeking to maximise value and selling.
Bayern know this is our stance too so have sought to publically position themselves at front of queue, self appointed but in the aim of deterring others and preventing bidding war.

I don't think anyone is suggesting he doesn't know what he wants.

Some of us are saying we believe he wants to stay, but wants a deal he is happy with (whether thats for more money or more playing time). Or that he is happy to earn less for longer to see how next season goes for him, before committing in his prime.

Others are saying he wants to leave, and is playing the club etc etc.

But undecided, don't think many think that.

Either way, two things have to happen, for him to leave. He has to want to leave, and Bayern have to pay big.

Nothing has to happen for him to stay. Including no contract renewal, for the time being.
No, I'm on exactly the same page mate. I'm just referring to the reports every day trying to portray this as a will he/won't be type thing.

I don't think for a minute he wants the same as kev, more likely raz level
I don't recall what each of them are on offhand but maybe that's the issue? Or maybe since he's on such a low wage now the club doesn't want to bump him up to Raz’s level. Total speculation obviously.

We'll be very light next season after we've forced out Sane, Aguero, Gundogan, Silva, Bravo, Dinho and anyone else with less than 2 years left.

We’re currently “doing an Arsenal” with Gundogan so I wouldn’t hold my breath on that

Kev is the top earner with dave, sergio and dinho, there is a structure

Hi Mr Blue, I kind of agree but did we give Kyle Walker £180k per week or is that a rolled-up number put out by journalists for best effect?
If there's a reliable listing of players wages then I'd like to see it (can you or anyone else please provide a link? If so, thanks) but in lieu of anything that reliably sets out what their wages are / what their bonuses are etc. I'd take the numbers with a pinch of salt.

I love the guy, Ihope he stays but I also know that we'll be ok if he leaves. IMO losing Kyle Walker, at this moment in time, would be more of a headache anyhow because we have a lot of players who can slot into Sane's play areas.

I have no idea where to find reliable salary numbers. I'm basing it off unreliable reports, to be sure. Maybe were offering Sane 300k a week and he still wont sign, and I'm just ignorant of the facts.

Losing Sane would be a hell of a lot worse than losing Walker though. Everyone says he had a weak season, but when he played he had 10 goals and 10 assists in 21 starts.

If Walker left we would sign a better player tomorrow.

I'm sure we could improve on Walker by buying foreign but we'd struggle to get a better homegrown RB.
Sane has amazing stats on the left but we have other great players who can slot in there. I certainly don't want us to lose Sane, he's fantastic for his age and I think he'll develop into a monster of a player, but I'd personally like to see Jesus get a run on the left and that could be the consolation if things don't go as I'd prefer.
