That wont actually be good for City/Bayern relations.
Hoeness and Pep are friends and Ruminigge is the one who told Kovac he should shut the fuck up and made him apologise publicly.
Those two leaving only leaves behind the people who hated Pep while he was there.
"The current coach, Niko Kovac, is very much a Hoeness choice, rather than a Rummenigge one. When Kovac innocuously spoke of his hope that Leroy Sané would join – before the Manchester City wide man’s knee injury – he was later very publicly slapped down by Rummenigge." Is this supposed to be some sort of joke?

Which journo will ask at Pep's presser on Friday 'Hi Pep, how much has the attack on your character from Bild affected you in the build up to this game and did you have an agreement in place not to play Sane?''

I wouldn't be so sure about the being able to walk thing. I had a full rupture of my ACL about 5 years ago and went on a stag do to Benidorm for three days immediately after. Was walking with the aid of a tubular compression bandage and 15 pints a day.

Not the wisest in the long run as my leg swelled from the trauma/altitude on the flight home after a 3 day bender. Thought I had a clot or something.
I too ignored the signs & shredded my knee, which needed 4 operations to fix. What I did learn, was that there a varying degrees of severity with an ACL & getting it seen to asap is crucial. Hope your knees better now.

German newspaper Bild are stating that Pep Guardiola broke an ‘unwritten law’, which is that a player (Leroy Sane) who is the subject of serious transfer negotiation shouldn’t be taking part in matches. Bild describe Pep's behaviour as ‘shabby’. [via @Sport_Witness]

we should just put a bid in for every player on their books and tell them if they field any one of those players in a competitive match they are acting in a shabby fashion
I fucking loathe these German cûnts and their fucking mouthpiece Bild.

I hope someone does so Pep can publicly tell Bild to swivel.

I'd argue that many of their fans are from outside Bavaria. I drove to our first game there a few years ago, and the fans were streaming down the autobahn from well before Stuttgart. Certainly hated by fans of other clubs I agree, but like united they have an awful lot of glory hunters from out of town, meanwhile there is a large support for 1860 in Munich itself, even though they are currently in the 3rd level.

Certainly a large support for Bayern in the old East, kind of as a FYTP to the authorities during the 70s and 80s. Pattern reinforced now that most old E.German clubs are uncompetitive. Walking around Dresden and (especially) Chemnitz & Leipzig you'll see as almost as many Bayern shirts/caps, etc as RB, Chemnitzer FC and Dynamo.

I see that Bild are criticising Pep for breaking an " unwritten rule " and playing Leroy whilst in the midst of " serious transfer negotiations " with the German rags .

Were City in " serious negotiations " seeing as BM seemed to be doing most of their " negotiations " via the whole of the German media, it's clubs, players and just about anybody they could involve , except perhaps the management at City ?

Accusing Pep of being arrogant seems a bit rich coming from the most universally accepted bunch of arrogant cnuts known as the BM hierarchy .
Serious negotiations really. Why did City say there were no negotiations, oh because there wasn’t any negotiating going on, the dirty lying bastards. Fuck em, first were FFP cheats now were shabby. Bit rich coming from a club of jailbirds.

regardless of their personal relationships with Pep, they have attacked the city project from day dot. Although it’s hard to envisage at the moment, there is life after Pep, the club goes on. Those two are as culpable as anyone for stoking the fires, they can’t have it both ways...
