I think we should be pragmatic. Tevez was brilliant for City but could hardly be described as the world's most loyal player. If we are paying his wages I have no problem using Sane. It's up to Bayern.I don't agree, if Pep creates an "you want to be here, you get to play" mentality then I don't see too much of an issue. I don't see why we should help his national team aspirations when he's not willing to commit to the club. If he wants to leave fine, let him put pressure on Bayern to pay up knowing he'll be going into a Euros year not playing a single minute. I don't see why he should get a free ride at our expense.

It would be bloody funny if we kept him and he scored a few goals in the CL next season which impacted on Bayern. I don't think Pep will get into mind games with Bayern over it. He will do what is right for the team. If Sane starts disrupting things then he will obviously not stay in the squad but I wouldn't be surprised if he plays tonight.

Hindsight and all that, Looks like we should've agreed and taken the higher fee when they first put in a bid. Not sure what that was but it was probably a lot more than 40M. I remember us fans saying no less than 100M. How times have changed.
