Still in Dreamland has it really happened ?
Is it possibleq2 that he can sue Swp for a challenge that apparently happened in a training session with England.
That he claims has ended his career and it was the start of his injury hell.
To me its seems very hard to prove that the challenge was deliberate and if it was accidental won't the England insurance cover the injury.
And also he is trying to sue Chelsea as well as Swp was a Chelsea player at the time.
I know the guy has had to retire because of being injured but i'm sorry he has had a lot of injury's in his career and to me he is trying to blame someone for him being injury prone.
Or am i wrong

Plus if it was in a practise session it surely was an accident rather than anything malicious. If it was in a game he'd have more of a case. You're right though, Dean Ashton has had more injuries than I care to remember.

Very very nearly signed for us under Keegan but the board refused, I believe.

SWP has never made a malicious tackle in his whole career.

Real shame for the lad, who was a great player on his day. Remember when we signed Samaras there were rumours that he was coming to City, and I was gutted we didnt get him.

Good luck to him.

Highly doubtful he could sue I reckon, even if he could prove that his retirement stemmed from SWP's tackle (which is debatable).
The United youth player, Ben Collett, won £4.3m for a tackle which ended his career, but the offending Middlesbrough player admitted it was negligent.

To me I think Ashton's being a bit tight on Shauny! How can he blame all his injury problems on Shaun! Hope he get's nothing! It's part of footy you get tackled! Get over it Deano!
