They have brought in some quality talent lately such as: Jordan Spence, Fred Sears, Junior Stanislas, Jack Collison, Mark Noble and throughout the last couple of years with: Joe Cole, Frank Lampard, Michael Carrick,
Jermaine Defoe....Can't think of any more ATM.

City have a great youth center best West Ham without a doubt is currently better.

out of them you have named only mark noble is worth mentioning maybe freddie sears might be one for the future as for lamps cole etc they were youngster about 7-8 years ago where as ours are just coming through and established in prem.Out youth side as been in fa youth cup final or semis for 3 of last 4 years west ham nowhere in that,there is no better youth academy to touch ours at the minute not 8 years ago.Vicky your spot on

For myself Its not about winning FA youth cups its about bringing in players up from the youth academy to the first team. Sears and Noble only worth mentioning? Have you not seen Collison this season? He has been one of the best players in that West Ham midfield and Stanislas was a starter for the latter half of last season. Jordan Spence is also a solid CB who was sent out on loan i think. City just need to give these youngsters a chance in order for them to progress.

Those 5 i quoted from West Ham will all be playing for West Ham regularly for years to come if not move to a bigger club whereas from the City youth i can only see Ireland, Richards and Weiss playing in the years to come. Oh and maybe Johnson if he overcomes his injuries he really is a great talent wish him the best. Happy hammer? Mate i'm just stating my opinion many people will agree many will disagree its what makes this world so interesting the vast differences in opinions.

yes but i was on about our academy over last few years as i pointed out to blewboy lamps cole etc was 7-8 years ago,so was shaunny,even though it does seem like yesterday
