Death Penalty/Executions.

Absolutely my point Bill.

I've had surgery four times and once I'm out, they could do whatever they wanted to me and I wouldn't have a clue. What's so difficult about doing what you suggested, instead of botched attempts or resorting to experimentation with nitrogen.

It's making a simple job far more complicated than it needs to be.
Yeah I really don't understand their problem. Just copy how they put dogs painlessly to sleep.

Crazy argument....24 paracetamol is a lethal dose mate, over the counter medication, and you reckon the state government can't obtain drugs from one of their hospitals to stop a convicted murderers heart.

You’ve replied to my post but it doesn’t seem like you’ve read it.

Pharmaceutical companies are refusing to sell their drugs to states to be used to kill people.

Obviously they could in theory purchase them under false pretences and use them anyway. But they’d probably be bankrupted before the end of the day.

They don't need to purchase anything mate, they have hospitals full of them. The state governments in America control their own state hospitals.

Surely there would be some small pharmaceutical company in the Far East, South America or Africa for instance, that wouldn't have the same moral restrictions that other countries do?

There’s a juxtaposition here though.

There are drugs that can kill people on death row, but because they aren’t prescribed for that purpose, it could be argued that they are being killed humanely, which is not what the death penalty enthusiasts want.

Sure, they could be fed a syringe driver through a cannula that kills them, but where is the sport and spectacle in that?

They could just give a GA to put you to sleep followed by a drug to stop your heart, like they do with dogs and cats.

That's about the most humane and painless.
I don’t understand why they don’t do this. When you have a GA at hospital, you haven’t got a clue what’s going on and just hope you come round. They could easily do it that way.
