I've just been to a funeral last week that was the celebration of a young life(16),she was an inspiration to everyone she met especially after being diagnosed with a brain tumour in March. She still lived and loved life to the full for as long as she could until the cancer took over. The funeral was a beautiful occasion where most people came out smiling,including me and my wife. Which is a strange thing to say as she was our daughter.

Don't think this is off topic but want to post this link to <a class="postlink" href="http://www.headsmart.org.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.headsmart.org.uk/</a> which gives info on brain tumour awareness in children and the possible symptoms. We were told by 111 and even the doctor the day before Lucy was diagnosed with a brain tumour that she had norovirus and it was only the caution of a ward registrar that saved her life that first night. Please share the link wherever you can as it could save a life again. Lucy had the symptoms of hydrocephalus(water on the brain) which caused a massive build up of pressure.

Just read that post of yours dcj , mate my heart goes out to you, you have my deepest sympathies , we argue about trivialities on here and then something like this is posted , i hope everyone gets a reality check.

I come on here to cheer myself up sometimes though, really funny stuff on here sometimes and i've always argued over trivial stuff too. The harsh reality is its life,however shit it can be.
