I am morbidly curious about my own death and if it was possible to try it once without upsetting anyone and the ability to come back, i'd surely try it.

a young girl I know had heart surgery last year and "died" for nearly 5 minutes. I asked her what it was like and she has no recollection which I find reassuring - its just lights out and nothing which is fine by me. As long as the bit preceding it isn't months of pain or a few moments of agony then alls the better

There are plenty who have described heaven and out of body experiences when they’ve “died” for a short period.
