Debt Collection Baliffs - To ignore or to pay

These dicks that tell u to ignore.
Just pay
Lol, explain how there is a legal debt at this stage.

You're clearly a 'dick' who doesnt have a clue what he's talking about.

If there was a debt they would be banging on the door - they're not because there isn't a debt. It's also not a fine it's an invoice.

The op needs to join the below group which will give him the correct advice.

A parking company cannot send bailiffs as below from Step Change website.

I don't normal stick my nose in things like this, because everyone has a different, more forthright view. However, reading the OP, you're suggesting that the fee was paid, but it was attributed to a vehicle that was not in the car park (and potentially doesn't exist).

Therefore you should have proof of payment, and the car park thieves are neither out of pocket nor have been "damaged".

It's a simple admin/human error - but the payment of the fee has been made. It may have gone to far, but I would argue this case and tell them to get fucked.

At least you might end up on channel 5 soon.
Best be prepared.

Get a good trim and make sure you aren’t wearing you Slazenger tracksuit bottoms.

And don’t take shit from the one who refers to himself as mr mckraken or something. Deal with the South African chap. Seems pretty reasonable .

Thanks for the advice.

We tried to appeal but it was a very arduous process and had to jump through so many hoops - writing them a letter etc. But obviously failed as still getting letters.

Being a bit of a fanny, I might just pay rather than letting it progress any further. Even though being in a channel 5 documentary does sound appealing.

Cheers guys

Mate my line of business is insolvency, if you don’t pay they is more than a chance of a CCJ so you are probably best paying it , or you could try Stepchange or your local CAB ( am only saying that cause I have to say it on every call )
