What do we reckon then?, a month to remember?

1/12 - RB Salzburg (h)
4/ 12 - Bolton (h)
11/12 -West Ham (a)
16/12 - Juventus (a)
20/12 - Everton (h)
26/12 - Newcastle (a)
28/12 - Villa (h)

I'm going for 5 league wins, 15 points for the Prem & a win tomorrow & a draw vs Juve for the Europa. This will be the month it all comes together!

That's very optimistic.

Bolton are in fine, fine form. Everton can always surprise. Newcastle away will never be easy and again Villa can always surprise.

Got a good feeling looking at those fixtures, if we are to seriously mount a title challenge then we will need to get maximum or near maximum points following this month. Doubt it but still will be fun finding out.

I've been thinking similar, could be one of the most important months I can remember for a long time, what with the top three also playing each other this month, if we can get wins on the board we will close the gap on them, maybe even over take one or two of them. We have to do our job though.

Realistically, i think we'll have a frustrating draw, or maybe even an unlucky defeat, in one of those 3 home games. Teams play incredibly defensive against us at our place. Bolton seem to play 2 upfront every week these days under Coyle, so that's an exception and it should play into our hands. But Everton have beat us with no strikers before, so that could easily be a draw or a stuffy Everton win. I think we'll win both league away games, beat Salzburg, but lose to Juve. It's down to other results whether that will be enough to progress in the Europa League. The Premier League should look good though if we can get at least 4 wins out of 5, as a lot of the top teams play each other.

in the league matches we need to convert draws into wins

maximum points at home and at least 3 points from one of the away games should see us in great shape

so I shall only let optimism overtake me if we dick Notlob

this is the period that it went tits up for Hughes , this year I hope for better things

Agreed . Great things are just around the corner for this team. I can feel it in my water

I expect to win Salzburg, Bolton and West Ham.
Draw at Juventus
Everton is normally a tricky game for us...hope we can turn it around though this year!
Newcastle away will be difficult obviously
Aston Villa: I think we'll beat them 1 or 2-0 :)
