Decent City Bets 24/25

Had quite a few bets on us winning different trophies etc but also requested a few bets with a few bookies and ladbrokes are the only ones that have done this for me, not brilliant odds but when do you get them now with us. i asked for Haaland to get 53 goals or more in all competitions which will beat his record from a few years ago (considering there’s more champions league games aswell), that was 8/1 and also for us to beat the premier league goals record in a season which is 107 or more which was 12/1 - had £20 on each and also makes the season even more interesting! it’s under the premier league specials section if anyone else fancies a dabble.

p.s. obviously didn’t ask for the middle betting odds, some smart arse fan or employee at ladbrokes thinking they’re funny

Backed Spurs on Sunday at 3.15, £100, now trading @ 2.36, guaranteed payout £31.25 no matter the result.

The only way to bet on City is during the match when we're losing but playing well, and when you recognise that we're out of form with issues but people just back us because we're us.

One such example of the latter is now. For my sins, i backed Spurs due to the bad timing of the game and Sporting as after the Bournemouth game i thought it looked like we had problems. Sporting were 4.5 (7/2) to win, which i thought was good.

Equally, i think our rebound victory is not as likely as the 1.8 (4/5) on Betfair suggests, I would wager we're more like 2.0 (evens) for an away win at Brighton in this current form. For me, that represents a value bet and i'm going to lay City for the win at 1.8; Brighton are also 4.5, which is very tempting, but I think i'll go with a lay of City.

From after the break, it'll become more difficult as we regain form. There's only very few times you can bet on/against City and find value.

Interesting. I backed Spurs draw no bet and won 70. Then left the Bournemouth game alone due to our record against them(even though I had a bad feeling) then lumped on Lisbon draw no bet and won 75. I was thinking of waiting to see if we went in front, then back draw and draw no bet which would of been much better than the 12-5, but after Saturday I just couldn't see it. That's where you get your value, but if they score first it's gone. I've always done this, it's my comfort blanket. It's only time I want to lose money.

We are out of form. I only back against us if this is the case. Brighton are tempting at the weekend.

like you, I deferred the Bournemouth game because despite the loss at Spurs and the injuries, our starting XI was very good, and we had a great results history against them, enough for me to swerve it. What I saw in that game was enough to convince me to back Sporting.

I take your point about the losing money, i dont mind losing £20 if it means City are winning! I rarely bet against City but i do if we hit these weird patches of bad form, we become a little more predictable. Still, shying away from a loss at Brighton. Good luck for the weekend.

Yeah the last 3 games have all been value backing against us. I kicked myself for not backing Spurs a couple of weeks before the game when their price was bigger. Bournemouth at evens with a plus one asian handicap was also very good value at evens. Also if we’re behind going into the last 15/20 minutes like at Bournemouth in play corners become very good at teams inevitably sit deep and we begin to throw the kitchen sink at them.

Brighton are currently 10 to 3 to beat us and even money double chance. That is huge with our current form.
