Mate, several of us raised doubts as to whether we were seriously interested, or trying to raise the price Arse would gave to pay, me included.

Arse Bid £90m, & City's eagerly awaited bid comes in at.... Wait for it... The same £90m Arse had just bid, but with slightly more favourable payment terms! Lol :-)

Summat stunk to me mate, PLUS I can't ever recall us ever getting into a public auction & we were VERY quick to end our interest.

Regardless it worked. We match Arse's bid. Arse panic & pay £15m more than they wanted! Quality move by Txiki!

There are a million different reason as to how this turned out like it did but I can guarantee that in those million reasons not one of them will involve the absolute nonsense she was spouting.

It's amazing that we are not even in top 2 of net spend in last e.g 7 years and that we spend e.g 55 million for Haaland, 15 for Alvarez and relatively tiny amounts lately for players not that known but we used them exceptionally well, we are reluctant to give more than 90 for Rice here, and next season all we will be hearing again will be that City wins all the trophies because of spending too much, Arabic money buys City the trophies and all these utter BS.

Thankfully that fairy tale is becoming obsolete and ridiculous and most people except mostly hardcore Utd and Liverpool fans, laugh with that.

We already have our own Declan Rice. A player, if given the chance, might just save us £100 plus million.



With better players around him and the confidence of having a manager and club that backs him could send this lad to the top.

Not complaining at all, we clearly have something in the pipeline but it makes yesterday's bid seem weird, we must have known it would be not accepted.

Just to name but a few we refused to pay over the odds for.
Why people don't trust City to make the right decisions by now is a mystery. Having the money, yet spending it wisely is the reason we enjoy so much success.

I remember the mardarses moaning about not throwing in a £150m bid for Kane "just to get it done".
Walking away and getting Haaland instead worked out well for us!

Because I’m not fucking insane. Think about what she said mate. Read it back and ask yourself in what world pep tells us to make a bid just so Arsenal can get the deal over the line. My head hurts just typing that out! Haha!
