Thanks for clearing that up. Any similar certainty on other potential ins and outs would be appreciated as no one else here seems to have your connections? I’d never heard of a player anywhere having that sort of power so I’ve learnt something.

Seeing as they didn't historically approach the City board directly when interviewing Arteta and persuading him to move, demonstrates that they have a " different way " of conducting their business. An arrogance perhaps that they could do what they want, as part of the established elite ?

So despite their self-entitled opinions of past glories and standing, they are deluded regarding their principles and values as a club, and from the evidence of certain of their supporters on this forum, they have never learned about humility.
