Declan Rice

Say what u want but we're well known for setting a price and sticking to it. As much as I think Rice would have been a good addition to an already talented squad I'm glad we've walked away.

If Arsenal spend £105m the media won't bat an eyelid, the same wouldn't be said for us!
And it won’t even be mentioned that we literally walked away from the deal because we felt Rice was being overvalued.

They’ll still write pieces about us financially distorting the transfer market, though.

It would be a mistake.

Don't underestimate the mental fatigue and ability to go again next season.

Huge task for some players at the wrong end of the age scale.
We all expect a drop off and let’s be honest maybe we need to temper expectations. We ain’t winning the treble again. If the squad does suffer then a cup run would be most likely.

I have high hopes Foden will come into his own and link up with a settled Haaland. I would still expect a few more faces if only to cover the departures. I have faith in the management that has delivered unprecedented success.

Players come and go all the time. We probably miss out on more than we know about. The next one will want to be here, that all I care about.

One Rodri Injury away from panic stations. Kalvin gets injured if you touch him, Stones can't stay for fit for a whole season. Also when Kalvin came in for Rodri in cup appearances opponents midfield ripped us apart may not have scored due to an Ortega masterclass

So yet again we will have to rely on Rodri staying fit all season.
