After all her Bullshit and now racism, Eni Aloku has deactivated her Twitter account haha
Hopefully she starts a trend. Social media sites are incredibly cruel to morons. They shouldn't be broadcasting their stupidity to the world and setting themselves up to be ridiculed.

The whole transfer is a bit of a mess that doesn’t seem to suit anyone particularly…

Arsenal have had to overpay by £30m vs what they wanted to, West Ham got their price but it’s in instalments through to 2075 and dependent on Arsenal winning the CL 8x in a row to activate the add-ons, and City have publicly telegraphed that Phillips isn’t wanted, so we will get screwed on the sale price and any fee to replace him.

That’s big news - where is the telegraph that City want Phillips out please?

So payments over nearly 50 years lmao

Can’t be real. How is that in any way a good deal for West Ham?

City just publicly offer £90m for Rice. Had we completed the deal, Phillips would’ve been ’encouraged’ to find a new club.

If an opportunity to spend that money elsewhere arises this window, Phillips will again be encouraged to leave which raises a rather tricky situation

He can be encouraged as much we like but if he doesn’t want to go he doesn’t go and fair fucks to him if that’s his choice. City very rarely treat players like pieces of meat which is why I don’t buy into this narrative of us trying to usher him out of the door.

Call me the supreme optimist, but I am hoping we dropped out of the bidding because we received encouragement of a potential better option eg FDJ

@tolmie hairdoo please feel free to give it a like :)

Phillips is 100% staying.

If the player doesn't want to go, there isn't much we can do.

City will now go after Gabri Viega from Celta Vigo.. He has 40M release clause.. Got a feeling that in the end Viega will turn out to be better signing than Rice..

Which is?

When I've seen Phillips and Rice play for England, Phillips looked the better player - robust, sharp in the tackle and able to pick out a pass. He was all over the pitch and looked a very decent player. Maybe I missed something and that Rice enabled him to do that! I've not seen Rice look decent against us and honestly just can't see what it is that people are getting excited about.

I suspect Phillips will play more games this year and probably feels he's got something to prove. Let's be honest, if he leaves us he isn't going to Real is he? This season is the most career-defining season he will have. If he can push for a starting place, he's a chance of winning medals he'll have dreamed of as a kid - see what it meant to Grealish. He will also be a definite in the Euros too.

The more I look at this £105m deal compared to some of the others, Arsenal have made a HUGE gamble that he is the missing piece. For that sort of money, they could've had Mac Allister, (£35m), Maddison (£40m), Tielemens (free) and Gabri Veiga (£35m). I know they don't play exactly the same game as Rice, but these prices show how much higher his fee - even us paying £30m for Kovacic. It also shows how they could've strengthened their squad quite a lot as well for the same-ish fee. Loftus-Cheek went for under £20m and he's just signed for AC Milan.

I honestly think they will regret it as there's no way they will get anything close to what they've paid for him back in a few years.

But they can buy Rice at £15 million a year?

Surely not? I knew something was off when we made just 1 bid that was the same value as arsenal 2nd that got rejected. Perhaps we’ve told West Ham to keep firm and then we swoop in to close the deal? One can dream lol.
