The haters will be on here quickly.

Oasis were my favourite band as a kid and I used to listen to them all the time. As I have grown older and drunker, I mean wiser, I have come to realise that they really aren't all that. However, they still have some brilliant songs. Noel Gallagher is a good songwriter no matter what people say about the lyrical content of his songs.

Slide Away is the song which shows them at their best. It's a good love song and Liam's voice was at its peak.

Absolutely spot on.
