Sorry. But that is wrong. Compared with a lot of defenders that might be. But - it is the difference in passing skills that keep him from the secure spot in the German Squad compared to Badstuber. And it is pretty normal that Badstuber is better in this category as Badstuber is an ex defensive-midfield-player (still in the Under-19s) as Hummels has been a forward until the U17 and was remodeled than. Badstuber even does good standards.
So he is probably a 7 or 8 in this category but not a ten.
But you forget one thing about him. He is pretty good in going forward and scoring goals at standards. In the last season he scored 5 goals.
