Everyone knew that we have no back up in this position and we can’t function without a holding midfielder, we were the same when Fernandinho got injured before Rodri,

…our only hope is to sign one in January, even Rodri himself felt the pressure of playing every game, we needed this signing even before his injury!

Obviously been through our academy, just started to play for Germany and getting CL experience. 6ft3, quick, good defensive numbers and has accurate long balls in his locker. All the right attributes to learn from Rodri, and not big enough that he’d cost a fortune.
