Defensive midfielder

we dont need a DM.
its ok for Kovacic, Gundogan start Real, Barcodes, Real, Liverpool in 2 weeks period in a few weeks time.

If we just getting one more it has to be a DM.

A solid midfield would help out whoever the RB is.
Get a RB in only and we still have a huge problem in midfield.
Don't know who it is but unless we get someone we can forget beating RM or BM.

And although we may make top 4 without a new CM it's not nailed on.
 
Hurry up and get someone in. Dinho and rodri are both currently with us, we could have them both give the new guy a crash course in how to be a holding midfielder for Pep.

I agree. The two young defenders are complete unknowns and unproven at the required level, basically just potential at this point.

We need a proper midfield or at least someone who has done it in the premier league before in my opinion

Tend to agree but I’m positive Marmoush will prove to be a great signing.

Completely agree. Those lads might end up brilliant hopefully, but they’re not likely to help us this season. It wasn’t even a position we desperately needed to strengthen, but if the club thought so then it should have been someone ready now.

Agree on Marmoush too, he looks like he could be a wonderful signing.
 
I really hope we bring in a Defensive midfielder this window. Looks likely we wont be now which is a shock.

Unless the club are really hoefully of Rodri being back sooner than we think, I can't see why we didn't get this sorted first thing this month.

Guimares, Luiz, and more and nothing has come through. Reminds me of the Mido shenanigans a few years ago

Mamoush is quality and will be even better when he settles in but we should have addressed midfield first before the defenders came in and I know everyone says why would a top midfielder come in to sit in the bench when Rodri is back but his do we know his he will find back and also he still needs to be rotated as him playing every game has got us into this mess .

Maybe, just maybe...we were trying to get a m/f sorted since Rodri got injured, but got told to do one, by their clubs, and we can't just "pay what it takes" these days, with PSR. Just a thought.
