From seeing a thread posted on Bluemoon about David Beckham it had me thinking:

What current/previous players of United would you welcome to City given our current status?

An example would be say if Mansour was an owner before Beckham left for Real Madrid from the Rags and we signed him, would you of welcomed him with open arms?

When we signed Tevez I'll be honest I was excited about the transfer. He was a beast of a player, couldn't care where he was coming from.

But if say we signed Roy Keane (in his prime) I'd spit my dummy and would never applaud him (even though he has since proclaimed to have never supported United, he is still a scum tw*t for the AIH tackle)

Never had any issue with Peter Schimeichel/Andy Cole when he was here either, although he wasn't exactly at his best.

if we signed Angel Di Maria tomorrow I would welcome him here.
I don't consider him to be a rag unlike say Gary Neville/Ryan Giggs.

Just watched a clip of Depay and I think he's going to be a fantastic player for the rags. Looks strong and very skillful. In fact he might be the new Hazard of next season. I think I might like to have Luke Shaw as our left back and of course Di Maria would be brilliant on the left for us.

Well Di Maria's not exactly a rag, he wanted to come here but we couldn't afford it with ffp apparently. Settled for the only club in England that could.

By all accounts, according to Koeman he's a fucking idiot he wouldn't touch him with a barge poll.

I'd go with Koemans judgement over a forum poster.

For me I'd take Ronald Koeman as our next manager no doubt - although obviously it's going to be PG I wouldn't mind it being Koeman.
Quality manager.

Obviously the media would go into meltdown and proclaim us as ruining southampton - even though the likes of Liverpool have been praised for becoming literally Southampton 2.0

Don't laugh but I always thought Beckham was a very good player. Apart from him, Denis Irwin was excellent. The majority of the rest just come with so much raggy baggage don't they ?
