Watched a bit of the Juve V AC game last night. Del Piero was once a dynamic midfielder but he has now lost ALL his pace & conducted most of what I saw at a walking pace.

I love him, but I wouldn't like to see him here as a shadow of himself. If we were to sign an older player I'd like Pirlo. He seems to have rediscovered himself this season.

He really should just retire. He should have done so last summer.

He's won everything domestically, as well as the Champions League and the World Cup and I don't think any top side would take him. His best option will probably be Champions League football with a team in Greece; something like that.

Definitely a very special player at his peak; enjoyed watching him a lot, but he needs to call it a day.
