Our signing of Sterling and Benteke on his way out has suddenly made him wake up and smell the coffee! He is lucky we need a few homegrown players in so is being given a second[third] chance to sign for God's own club!

I really want to know what's caused the u-turn. Perhaps the Benteke sale? If he thought the response from the Villa fans was harsh, it'll be something else this time round.

I'd guess Benteke sale and the dust has settled now his wife has given birth. He's probably thought long and hard about how to provide the best life for his family. Staying at Villa is an uncertainty as they could certainly go down. At City he will get a solid wage for 5 years and definitely be a Prem player.

It is one thing to be given steers on who we are signing, it's a very different type of ITK who knows as and when something is happening in real time, whether they be an employee, a relative, or just johnny on the spot.

Fair play and should show some sceptics that people come by information in a variety of ways, just as McrJohn does.
