If it's true his £8m clause is only activated by a CL club, i'm amazed Wenger wasn't interested. Would have been a perfect fit for them.
 
He's on big wages, Eh? Didn't realise you were privy to the clubs contractual negotiations. That's just pure conjecture. Give your head a wobble pal. Sure, delph isn't the kind of big name to have you spunking in your jeans but you can't argue the boys a talent, by no means am I saying he's a world beater but he's certainly an upgrade on Lampard and Milner and for £8m factoring in his HG status he's a steal.

When he plays for City, I#ll of course back him to the hilt. I'm still not a fan of this signing. I don't think he's good enough, I don't think he suits us at all and I think £8m is about £8m too much. I would rather use Evans or Fofana tbh.

How can you say he is an upgrade on Milner when they play completely different positions?

Cant say im that excited about the signing although hopefully it will mean the end of Fernado. Still need a real top class midifelder though if we to get anywhere in the CL imo.
