To be fair, he hasn't played much and looks rusty but Pellegrini can't afford to risk him in the middle. He's shown a lack of quality on the ball in most of his appearances and very limited positional discipline. I haven't seen the stats hut he must be subbed with at least 30 mins to go more often than not.

The only reason we signed him was he was a relatively cheap English player. Some fans love a trier however average they are.

He's a CM, not a left winger. Imo he was a really good buy and he's been unlucky with injuries and played out of position.

It's been hard to gauge just how good he's been since he signed due to the stop start nature of his playing time. Last night though - Jesus he was poor. Offered nothing in the final third, offered nothing in defence and gave the ball away so often I presume he'd banged his head and thought he was playing for Newcastle.
I'm sure it's not his favoured position on the left wing but somehow the bossman thinks it works. What have we got left? Six weeks? Roll on the summer..
