deluded?
Mufc-legends: Not strictly true, Bolton had the better chances for the first 30 minutes, City did get on top possession terms but the first half was even in chances and Boltons chances were clearer cut. It was 3 shots to 4 first half, the reason City dominated possession is because they responded to Boltons pressing with what can only be called outright assault, basically they lunged, stamped, elbowed and kicked themselves into full dominance. Even so, credit to Bolton for spells even second half they looked like scoring, could have easily scored a couple more. Jaskelainen made tow very poor mistakes for two of the goals, not like him at all. A draw would have been fair and well earned for Bolton considering the way City played

As an opposition supporter, I wouldn't say you "lunged, stamped, elbowed and kicked" your way into controlling the game. I think some of our play was dirty but you gave as good as you got. You have some big lads in your team and they're not soft. Yes, Jussi made a huge mistake with your first goal, your second goal was a great goal so I'm not sure he could have done anything with that. Your third goal was Knight's error. You deserved the win overall. You did, however, withstand periods of pressure from us and I do think we played well overall. Against another team at the'bok, we may have earned a point, but on balance, considering you'll certainly challenge for the title this year, I don't think we did too badly, and I was pleased with us yesterday. Aguero didn't have his shooting boots on and on another day those terrible misses would have gone in, so we can count ourselves lucky for that one. I think it was a good game, but I don't think we fell apart, which was what I'd feared previously.
Anyway, good luck for the rest of the season (except against us!) :)
